Role Overview: This position supports distribution services with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting facility equipment and systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing effective preventive maintenance plans for all facility equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing materials handling and automated picking systems errors.
- Overseeing maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of equipment and controls.
- Assessing equipment efficiency and recommending modifications for improvement.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure warehouse productivity.
- Managing repair records using CMMS/EAM systems and maintaining spare parts inventory.
- Working extended hours as needed to meet operational goals.
- Performing related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Vocational training or equivalent experience, with at least two years in a related role, preferably with electrical expertise.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including reading CAD, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting components.
- Experience with PLC programming, wiring, and configuration, along with familiarity with network communication protocols.
- Ability to diagnose electrical control issues down to the component level and operate chill water plant systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor other technicians and work independently in a team environment.
