Electrical Engineer Projects

We are seeking a Mechanical and Project Engineer to oversee and communicate operational plans for project completion, monitor progress, resolve operational issues, and manage resources including materials, equipment, staff, and contractors. The role involves developing schedules, budgets, and forecasts for equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers, with occasional support outside of mechanical engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading continuous improvement initiatives for facility mechanical systems, including design, maintenance, capacity planning, and upgrades. (20%)
• Supporting the operation and documentation of mechanical systems, updating drawings, and ensuring system reliability. (20%)
• Developing and managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and workflows, and supporting equipment replacement strategies. (15-20%)
• Supervising contractors, managing project documentation, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget. (10-15%)
• Training and supporting facility staff, promoting continuous learning, and ensuring operational excellence. (10%)

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-6 years of experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
• Strong communication, technical, and project management skills, with experience in control systems and equipment reliability. Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage multiple projects is essential.

Working conditions: Willingness to travel to facilities and support both manufacturing and office environments, with flexibility for overtime and support during plant shutdowns.
