Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 2+ years of experience in automotive or Powersports sourcing preferred. Essential skills encompass strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with knowledge of market trends and technical specifications. The role requires confidentiality, effective time management, and the ability to develop innovative cost reduction strategies.
The position involves minimal supervision, no direct reports, and manages an annual outsource spend exceeding $25M. Decision-making focuses on supplier proposals, quotation approvals, and cost mitigation tactics.
