Role Overview: This position involves developing functional prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles, integrating new technologies to meet business goals and ensure global product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design component and system layouts using CAD to meet concept, function, and manufacturing requirements, and communicate specifications through detailed drawings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to cost targets by optimizing designs and implementing cost reduction ideas.
- Manage work schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate project status effectively.
- Contribute ideas for technological advancements and support their development for practical application.
- Assist in market quality initiatives, analyze root causes of issues, and develop specifications with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in engineering, preferably in Powersports or Automotive sectors.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance analysis, drawing/layout techniques, and CAE principles.
- Ability to develop plans, schedules, and understand product development timelines.
Working Conditions: May involve travel (including overseas), desk and scope work, and exposure to typical office/shop hazards. Overtime may be required, with adherence to safety and company policies.
