We are seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Specialist to support Honda’s Marine initiatives.
Responsibilities include conducting market analysis, customer insights, and business assessments to aid in new model development. You will develop outboard and rigging line-up strategies aligned with customer needs and regulatory standards, coordinate product launches, and serve as the customer advocate during product concept, design, and testing. Maintaining industry knowledge of Marine products, competitors, and trends is essential for informed decision-making.
Key duties involve:
- Supporting product planning through market trend documentation and business analysis.
- Developing product line-up strategies to meet customer and business objectives.
- Leading communication for product launches and sales promotion activities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product development and testing, providing customer insights and market opportunities.
- Building expertise in Marine industry trends, Honda’s products, and competitors.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years marine industry experience with a degree, or 8+ years relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of Marine products, technology, and industry trends.
- Proficiency with MS Office, web-based databases, and analytics tools like SPSS, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.
- Excellent decision-making, project management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all management levels.
