Mechanical Development Engineer II

Join a dynamic power unit division focused on V6 engine durability testing, supporting the development of innovative powertrain components to meet market, regulatory, and quality standards. This role involves planning and executing tests, simulations, and failure analyses, analyzing results, and proposing design improvements. You will prepare technical documentation, support project management activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical) or related STEM field, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. Strong computer skills, data analysis capabilities, and the ability to evaluate vehicle dynamics are essential. Leadership skills are needed to guide engineering teams toward achieving vehicle function targets. This onsite role may offer one remote workday per week with prior approval.
