Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store employees and overseeing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Communicate performance, conduct, safety expectations, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure proper store opening and closing procedures, including personally opening and closing the store regularly.
• Analyze operating statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and address shrink and errors.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and stock presentation according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate merchandise presentation, signage, and pricing.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, key control, and security practices.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Adhere to company policies, complete documentation accurately, and ensure team compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, counseling, and legal compliance.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills; bilingual skills may be preferred.

Experience & Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Management experience in retail is advantageous.

Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing or outdoor exposure. Must be able to operate equipment and drive for store-related tasks. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
