Store Manager – Full Time

Role Overview:

The Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and performance management.
• Open and close the store regularly, supervise daily store activities, and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Analyze operating statements to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and proper merchandise presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity via cash handling, cashier accountability, and security practices.
• Lead customer service efforts and foster a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies and legal standards.
• Complete administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to interpret manuals, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety protocols.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is strongly recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks regularly.
