Wargame Designer

Role: Wargame Designer responsible for creating and facilitating custom wargame designs to support decision-making and research objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing physical and digital wargames, including rule sets, maps, tokens, and guides to enhance player engagement.
• Integrating modeling and simulation tools into game development to advance wargaming concepts.
• Facilitating and adjudicating wargames to ensure smooth execution and achievement of objectives.
• Collaborating with a team of designers, developers, and analysts to meet analytical goals.
• Providing coordination across multiple wargaming initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of wargame design experience or 10+ years without a degree.
• Knowledge of diverse game mechanics, adjudication methods, and methodologies.
• Experience with digital wargaming platforms and simulation tools.
• Proven leadership in planning, goal achievement, and team direction.
• Strong presentation skills using Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred: Experience with digital platforms, simulation tools, and military or government contracting backgrounds.

Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and remain stationary for periods.
