Systems Engineer

Role: Lead Systems Engineer, responsible for leading systems engineering efforts across platforms or programs.
Responsibilities: Oversee requirements management, technical integration, system performance, and lifecycle execution; translate architectural vision into technical plans; manage technical risks; lead design reviews, requirements validation, and system verification; coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams; develop technical documentation, metrics, and roadmaps; mentor team members; communicate with stakeholders; and support testing and integration activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 7 years, or 13 years of experience without a degree; experience leading system integration in airborne or lab environments; active Security+ certification required; preferred active Top Secret with SCI clearance.
Skills: Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in system architecture, analysis, modeling, and project management; experience with requirements traceability, risk mitigation, and technical decision-making; hands-on testing and integration experience; ability to work independently and mentor others.
Additional duties: Serve as technical interface for customers and leadership, manage engineering activities, and support process improvements. The role may involve travel, on-call work, and requires a security clearance.
