Role: Lead Project Engineer supporting complex system integration on airborne platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, executing, and coordinating program activities throughout the lifecycle
- Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and technical baselines
- Ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements
- Leading cross-functional teams to resolve design and integration challenges
- Reviewing and approving engineering deliverables and design changes
- Driving resolution of engineering issues and conducting design reviews
- Interacting with customers and senior leadership at all program phases
- Tracking performance metrics, cost, and schedule variances, and providing status updates
- Supporting bid/proposal efforts, including bid tools and technical responses
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 7 years
- Or 13 years of experience without a degree
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
- Experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget
- Knowledge of engineering processes, policies, and bid/proposal development
- Expertise in aeronautical, software/hardware, or systems engineering roles
- Leadership experience such as Task or IPT Leadership is preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to travel as needed
